IAN LANG BSC., MSC., DVM

Dr. Ian Lang attended the University of Western Ontario, earning a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Zoology. He then moved to Guelph, Ontario, attending the Ontario Agriculture College where he received a Masters in Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002. Ian moved to Owen Sound shortly after graduation to join the staff at Sunset Strip Veterinary Clinic. He now lives in Chatsworth with his wife and their three children. They share their home with their wonderful mutt Rosemary, cats Hank and Joe, Leo (the world's cutest leopard gecko) and four African Dwarf frogs.  Camping, biking, skiing, and gardening are their favourite pastimes.

MICHAEL SLOSS, DVM

Dr. Michael Sloss graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2000. After working in companion animal practice for a few years, Dr. Sloss and fellow classmate Dr. Derek Fingler opened Greenboro Veterinary Clinic – a successful small animal practice located in Ottawa, Ontario. After deciding to return to Owen Sound in 2006, Dr. Sloss joined the staff at Sunset Strip Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Sloss and his wife live in Owen Sound and are kept busy raising their five children and sharing adventures together along with their black lab – Emmy. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family camping, skating, hiking around the area and downhill skiing at Blue Mountain.

KAREN MURRAY, BSC., DVM

Dr Murray attended the University of Guelph earning a Bachelor of Science (biology) as well as her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998.
She has worked in Lindsay and Owen Sound before joining the Sunset Strip Veterinary Clinic in 2020. She lives in Owen Sound with her husband, Wayne, and their dog, Carson (a Boston Terrier) and cat, Dughall. She has a quilting problem that shows no signs of resolution and bakes goodies that often find their way to the Sunset Strip staff room.
